End of Day PRAYER POINT
Review Your Day
In the light of God’s truth carefully recall the
events of the day. What did you do and with whom did you
interact? What do those actions (or non-actions) and your
interactions with others reveal about what is going on in your mind and
heart? Ask the “why” and “what’s going on questions.”
Explore why you felt certain ways and why you acted or reacted in the
ways that you did. Bring these feelings honestly to God.
Ask God, “What does this represent? What might You, God, be
trying to say to me? What do I learn about myself and my heart in
this? Is my heart divided between wanting to please God and
self? What do I learn about life? What have I
learned about others?
II Corinthians 13:5 (the Message)
Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don't drift along
taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need
firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you.
